I have to confess, I borrowed this from one of my fave blogs: Bless This Nest.
I've been wanting to start one of those 30 day blog challenge things that everyone else seems to be doing. But let's face it, I don't have the attention span to stick with something for entire month. So thank you, Erin for the shortened challenge. Love it. :)
1. I guess this isn't really a secret, just something most people don't know: I'm a huge country music fan. I hate rap music. Everyone assume's because I'm in my early twenties that I would be more into the rap/hip-hop music, but NO way. It's annoying to me, Lol.
2. I'm extremely indecisive. Or maybe I'm over decisive. Not sure. But I choose something and then flip a day later to something else.
3. I'm addicted to water. Not drinking it, but showering, swimming, etc. I take atleast two showers a day. Thank goodness hot water isn't expensive where I live, and there's a lake less than 20 miles from my house.
4. This next one gets a bit complicated. I love being a mom, and I even love being a single mom. I don't have to fight or argue with someone else about how my child is raised because I'm the only one who decides. But I do miss having a partner, and wish I had one.
5. My best friend in the entire world is my mom. We call each other every hour, and talk just like a couple of chatty girlfriends. Even if it's just to talk about our favorite TV show.
6. My favorite TV show is Doctor Who on BBC America. I'm a whovian, and I wear a bow-tie now! Bow-ties are cool. ;)
7. I was engaged for the better part of four years, but never came close to marriage. Didn't even get close enough to start actually planning a wedding.
8. I have a serious addiction to Mountain Dew, and probably couldn't function without my daily fix.
9. Most of the time I wind up passing out on my couch, instead of actually making it in to my own bed. Usually I'm up late, blogging, entering giveaways, etc, so I just close my lap top, lie my head down, and close my eyes.
10. After my knee surgery in 2007, I became pretty addicted to pain killers. But since becoming a mom, I realised that I didn't want to miss one single day with the love of my life (Katy) because I was drugged. And even though now I have pretty bad rheumatoid arthritis in most of my joints, I still won't take anything above the occasional tylenol. It's just not worth it. My daughter is more important.
