10 Day Challenge:Day 10/ Wordless Wednesday
I've been a little distracted by my giveaway to blog the last couple of days, but I still need to finish My 10 Day Challenge series with the last challenge, which is a picture of myself. Funny coincidence that it is also Wordless Wednesday, so I thought I could do a Two for One type of deal. Lol. So here it is! Enjoy!

10 Day Challenge: Day 9
Today's Challenge is Two Songs:
1. In My Daughter's Eyes, Martina McBride
I have to admit as I was thinking of my favorite songs this one jumped right to the top of the list. It makes me cry every time I hear it. This is the love I feel for my darling little girl. Hope you enjoy it, and make sure you have a tissue box handy!
2. Joy to the World, Three Dog Night
I know this song completely by heart. It has been passed down, generation to generation, as a lullaby. My mom sang it to me when I was a baby, and I've sung it to my daughter every night since before she was born. She won't go to sleep without mommy or grammy signing her "bullfrog song". :)

10 Day Challenge: Day 5
Today's challenge is 6 places, not sure if that's places you want to see, or already love so I mixed it up.

1. Number one for a reason: Palouse Falls, Idaho
My family has a lot of memories here, camping together. I loved this place as a child, and still do to this day. I haven't had the opportunity to take my daughter yet, but I want to. It's gorgeous there. I've actually stood up at the top of the falls, we climbed up there with my parents when I was younger. :)

2. Gig Harbor, Wa
Gig Harbor is where I lived with my ex. Despite the tourist-y atmosphere, It is gorgeous there. Mt. Rainier is not far away, and usually is the backdrop for this beautiful place.
Katy's paternal grandparents still live in the area, so we still see it every now and again. And every time I go, I love it.

3. Sicily
My namesake and heritage. I am half sicilian, and I've always wanted to go so I can learn more about the customs, and my own heritage. One day I will go there. And I'll probably confuse the locals when I say "Il mio nome e Sicily!"( My name is Sicily- I do know a little italian) :D

4. Cesme Peninsula, Turkey
Not necessarily un-heard of, but definitely not as main stream a destination like Hawaii. This place is GORGEOUS!!
I love these beutiful pictures of the Aegean Sea hitting the beaches of Cesame.

5. As much as I'd love to see other far away places, I am very proud of Idaho. We actually have four seasons unlike a lot of places in the world.
We are a mixture of beautiful farm land, gorgeous rivers, campgrounds, with some pretty cool attractions.
One of my favorites being McCall, Idaho for all the winter activities they have. I love the Pancake and Christmas House. I went there and after eating a delicious breakfast, I shopped for christmas items! So much fun!!
6. Hawaii
For obvious reasons I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. It is so beautiful there. It's always been a favorite of mine, and also my mom's. I hope to take her there one day. :)

10 Day Challenge: Day 4
Today's challenge is going to be hard. 7 wants? JUST 7? I have way more than that, but I will try to keep it down to 7. :)
7 Wants:
1. A better job (Make more money so I can actually afford a bigger apartment)
2. Enough money saved for Katy to go to college (So she actually goes)
3. A college degree (I started, never finished)
4. To get married to a sane, balanced, nice, dependable, loving, supportive man who loves my daughter like she was his own. (The only type I will accept)
5. No more arthritis. (I'm tired of being stiff every morning)
6. An Acer ICONIA Tab (Like the Ipad but Acer runs windows)
(Not much more needs to be said about this one)

10 Day Challenge: Day 3
Today's Challenge: 8 Fears
1. Biggest fear is something happening to my daughter ( I think every parent can agree).
2. Something happening to my mom. If anything were to happen to my mom, I would be devastated, and so would my daughter. We depend on her for so much.
3. That I'll never get married.
4. That I'll have to work dead end jobs for the rest of my life.
5. That I'm somehow raising my daughter the wrong way.
6. That I will never get out of this small town, and see the world.
7.That something will happen to me, and my daughter becomes an orphan.
8. That my daughter's biological father will all of a sudden decide that he wants to get custody and take her from me.

10 Day Challenge: Day 2
Today's Challenge is 9 Loves:
1. My daughter is biggest love I have in this world. I can't express just how much I love her.
2. I have an addiction to photography. Not just taking pictures, but editing them. Framing pictures. I have been known to spend my last dollar on a new picture frame. There is only a small amount of blank space left on the walls at my house. And that's Katy's room, but everywhere else you look, you will find photos (mostly of my daughter, who is my favorite subject- as seen above).
3. I love blogging, and staying up late to do giveaways. (Even if I am sleep-deprived the next day)
4. Mountain Dew in a can.
5. Fave color: Purple. (Have you noticed almost everything on my site is some shade of purple? Lol.)
6. Watching older Disney movies with my daughter.
8. My neices, and nephews. I have a lot (aging from 1 yr to 17 yrs)!
9. The Gospel, My Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ.

10 Day Challenge: Day 1
I have to confess, I borrowed this from one of my fave blogs: Bless This Nest.
I've been wanting to start one of those 30 day blog challenge things that everyone else seems to be doing. But let's face it, I don't have the attention span to stick with something for entire month. So thank you, Erin for the shortened challenge. Love it. :)
1. I guess this isn't really a secret, just something most people don't know: I'm a huge country music fan. I hate rap music. Everyone assume's because I'm in my early twenties that I would be more into the rap/hip-hop music, but NO way. It's annoying to me, Lol.
2. I'm extremely indecisive. Or maybe I'm over decisive. Not sure. But I choose something and then flip a day later to something else.
3. I'm addicted to water. Not drinking it, but showering, swimming, etc. I take atleast two showers a day. Thank goodness hot water isn't expensive where I live, and there's a lake less than 20 miles from my house.
4. This next one gets a bit complicated. I love being a mom, and I even love being a single mom. I don't have to fight or argue with someone else about how my child is raised because I'm the only one who decides. But I do miss having a partner, and wish I had one.
5. My best friend in the entire world is my mom. We call each other every hour, and talk just like a couple of chatty girlfriends. Even if it's just to talk about our favorite TV show.
6. My favorite TV show is Doctor Who on BBC America. I'm a whovian, and I wear a bow-tie now! Bow-ties are cool. ;)
7. I was engaged for the better part of four years, but never came close to marriage. Didn't even get close enough to start actually planning a wedding.
8. I have a serious addiction to Mountain Dew, and probably couldn't function without my daily fix.
9. Most of the time I wind up passing out on my couch, instead of actually making it in to my own bed. Usually I'm up late, blogging, entering giveaways, etc, so I just close my lap top, lie my head down, and close my eyes.
10. After my knee surgery in 2007, I became pretty addicted to pain killers. But since becoming a mom, I realised that I didn't want to miss one single day with the love of my life (Katy) because I was drugged. And even though now I have pretty bad rheumatoid arthritis in most of my joints, I still won't take anything above the occasional tylenol. It's just not worth it. My daughter is more important.
